Bar/ Restaurant in Chelsea/ Kensington/ Ladbroke Grove
Discussion
Hi guys,
Bit late notice but I've had excellent recommendations from here before and used recommendations for others so hopefuly the PH fooderatti can point me in the right direction.
Taking a girl for drinks, possibly food tonight in this aforementioned area. It is not an area I know well at all though one I intend to start exploring.
So I'm looking at suggestions suitable for a date i.e. for drinks/ cocktails and potentially food - obviously due to the area it won't be cheap but I'd rather not spend a fortune (this time). Looking for a more relaxed but nice place, somewhere quite 'cool', suitable for a date really.
All suggestions greatfully received!
Thanks.

Main advice - dont go anywhere near Ladbroke Grove!
I used to spend my summers as a kid in Ladbrook Grove, used to come down every year to see my Gran and hang out in the adventure playground opposite the her flat. That was 25 years ago mind.I'm off on a tangent sorry.....carry on.
Not been yet but this place has a good reputation for food.

What`s your budget?
If ££££ then go:
http://www.etranger.co.uk
If not so:
http://www.pierinopastapizzarestaurant.co.uk/index...
I should really read posts better. L`etranger is not a first date place unless you can carry that lifestyle forward! Great cocktails and I found staff very friendly. Food on the dearer side of life but the wine list is really second to none. It`s on Gloucester Rd.
Pierino is an insiders Italian but won`t be great for drinks.
How about Pasha in South Ken also, Gloucester rd as well from memory. Try and get the private table under the stairs, very intimate.
