Recommend me a smoker

I've had one of these for a year - http://www.smokingbbq.co.uk/proq-amigo-3-1n-1-bbq-...
Sure I paid about £70 for it though.

I don't know what the difference is I'm afraid? Both?
That £10 one looks like the kind if thing I'm after.
Do you want to make smoked salmon, smoked cured meats like Bacon, smoked cheeses etc? In which case a cold smoke generator is what you need. If you want smoked brisket, pulled pork, bbq ribs etc then hot smoking using a bbq smoker or kettle bbq is what you need cooking indirectly. That £10 one looks like the kind if thing I'm after.

Ahhh, thanks for the help, I want both
no but really sounds like a cold smoker is what I'm after. Cheers.
Think I'm gonna make one of those ugly smokers.
OK- for cold smoking you would either need to DIY something a bit more elaborate than the ugly smoker shown above or buy yourself a ProQ Cold smoke generator ~ £30 + the correct wood dust. I use the latter in my Webber kettle with excelent results. some people use the ProQ csg in a cardboard box with some holes in so its a low cost option you would also be able to use it in the smoker shown above. note that most food that is cold smoked is also cured prior to smoking so you will also need to look into that.
