The best thing about fosters is the adverts.

I'll drink it if there's nothing else, but otherwise, this can only be a good thing.

Swap to Carling or Carlsberg, they all taste the same.

Maybe the brewery are phasing it out in favour of something with flavour?

Beer drinkers are a fickle lot, most of it is about brand marketing and image. I reckon if I tipped some fosters into a Peronni bottle most 'cool' drinkers wouldn't notice the difference.

I quite like it now tbh.

The worst hangover I ever had was aged about 13 after having 5 cans of Fosters, passed out in a garden and threw up a dozen times walking back to my mums the following morning. Good times. That episode put me off lager until I was about 20

I dunno - it does taste a lot different to Peroni, which is more of a Budweiser-type taste.

Whaaaaat!!!!!

Peronni tastes nothing like Budweiser (assuming you are talking about the American piss water) they are in a different league, Coors and Budweiser do however taste (lack of taste) the same vomit

I am always surprised whenever I go to a decent pub with real ale on tap that people will still sit down and quaff fizzy, tasteless Pißwasser like Fosters when there is decent beer on tap. I suppose some people just don't know any better.

They might just prefer Fosters. Or want a cold beer-like drink.

Well no, Budweiser still tastes terrible. But I'd say that Fosters tasted like a terrible version of Moretti (the one with what looks like a child molester on the label)

It's not "not knowing any better", I absolutely hate ale as does everyone else I know. We had a real ale festival when I was at uni and everything I tried was rank!

sometimes an ice cold larger just hits the spot in place of a nice ale...... at the moment staropramen, peroni or becks vier are my choice in the hot weather smile
