Breakfast dilemma
Discussion
Fry up or porridge?
I have eggs, mushrooms, bacon, sausages, beans, bread, oil. minimum 30 minutes to cook, then 1 plate, knife and fork, two pans and a bowl to wash.
I also have Oatso Simple. A few minutes in the microwave, 1 bowl and 1 spoon to wash up.
Fry up is the preference, but I can't decide if I can be arsed or not...

Well, in the end I just had a banana...
But I will make up for it tonight. Just browned a brisket and bunged it in the slow cooker with celery, carrot, onion, beef stock, some port (didn't have any red wine!), tomato puree, Thai fish sauce (for the umami), a few cloves of garlic, and a splash of soy sauce. Will cook it for 10 hours, and serve with mash and savoy cabbage.

It's the sausages. I like to do them in the oven for nice even browning.
Me too, although I took them out prematurely on Saturday due to hangover and a hungry friend. I'm struggling to find good sausages at the moment. Sometimes a simple cheap Richmond beats a supposed special supermarket brand. My local butcher's were no better either.
