Has there even been a recipe thread?

I know there is the BBQ one, but has there ever been a normal recipe thread and if not, why not?

Some of the meals on here look delicious and it would be quite hhandy having the recipes in one place (assuming people were willing to share them).

Agreed, a recipe wiki would be fantastic,

I've made the chilli from here before but the thread disappears regularly and PH search has the most ironic name in the world being that it doesn't actually give you any useful results!

That is the kind of thing yeah, I did search for something honestly.

Looks like it could do with being updated though as there isn't much on there at the moment.

I fancy that would get too big, too quick. It would have to be broken down into sensible 'genres' with a 'sticky index stylee wiki thing'.

I think it would just be too impossible to keep track off. If there's something you see and don't know or able to make up the recipe asking for it is the best way I find.

How about a recipe thread wiki, ie a directory of useful threads rather than the recipes themselves? The responses and "twists on" can also be very useful.

Or it could be a more general food and drink useful threads wiki, with a section for recipes.

Unlike other PH forums, the information posted on this forum doesn't really go out of date, there is loads of useful stuff that people find hard to find.
