What whisky based present for about £100?

My mate is getting married and I want to get him some glasses or something as a present. Was thinking of spending a hundred quid or so on something, just not sure what..
I know the generally accepted thing is that whisky fans just want a bottle instead of any novelty gifts, but I'd like to get somthing that will last a bit longer.
Anyway, any ideas for a good present?

Really depends what your after- if it's a malt or blend. For £127 you could buy a bottle of Johnnie walker blue label and have it engraved for Free on ' the whiskey exchange'

A hundred quid is a lot of money to spend on novelty/inscribed tat. Whisky people tend to have their favourite glass anyway, and a hip flask etc.

Otherwise, go into a SPECIALIST whisky shop and ask them for a recommendation. Lots of very special stuff available for £100 or less. Work out what he usually drinks first.

Ideally I want to stay away from novelty stuff and I didn't want to get a bottle of something as it will just get drunk. I know that's the idea, but in years to come if I got something like the tantalus, they could look at that forever.
Thanks for the advice so far, I'll start looking for one of those for now.
