I am going to drink cider with friends, in the sunshine, outside my local.

That is all.

I’m about to finish work early, wander down to my local with my good lady and drink copious amounts of real ale whilst enjoying a nice cigarette.

Won’t be sitting in the sun though… can’t stand it (must be a hangover from my full on Goffik days!).

For what it's worth I spent a considerable amount of time and money last summer in a quest to find the finest bottled cider and in my humble opinion they are as follows:

1. Henry Westons Organic
2. Waitrose Vintage Cox (although no good this year for some reason)
3. Dunkertons Black Fox

Gives me a slight headache just thinking about it. We now refer to it as the lost summer.

I'll be mostly drinking Hook Norton Haymaker this year. It's kinder in the morning.

Enjoy...

There is a cure, you know.

Make it your mission to get out to the fields.

You can, the anitbiotices ust won't work as well as they should do, so you will die. Small price to pay for a lovely afternoon like today! Get on it!

Real cider doesn't give you a hangover.

That fizzy, sweet pisswater they sell in chain pubs is an abuse of the Cider name.

I still see snow when looking outside, so I think I might wait a little while. Still, could stick the top down when going home now!
