I went for the first time about 5 months ago, and left feeling pretty underwhelmed.
Nothing wrong with the food, it just didn't blow me away.
Not somewhere I'd rush back to.
I'm another one - went there with some friends for a lunch special on the Royal Wedding Day. All three of us left hungry and severely under-whelmed.Nothing wrong with the food, it just didn't blow me away.
Not somewhere I'd rush back to.

To be perfectly honest, based on the menu prices, I wouldn't exactly expect a Michelin-starred experience. I've paid more for dinner in establishments with far less prestige or 'wow factor'...
This, it's pretty cheap for a central London restaurant never mind that it's a Ramsay one. Food was to a high standard and service was excellent. I'd go again.obob said:

I went last night with the wife - I got quite a good deal last year, so it was one of her sideline Xmas presents. We thoroughly enjoyed the food and the service was very good. We didn't go in with the expectation of Michelin amazingness, but certainly didn't feel short-changed having had a great meal. For anyone who's interested, Maze was absolutely delightful. Formal without being too pretentious, and with fantastic service. The food was fantastic, but I always need to remind myself that tasting menus aren't for hungry people! A great winelist and fantastic company topped of a wonderful evening - recommended.
