Tuna is my favourite food.

The only thing is I only have tuna sandwiches/pasta/salads..

Was wondering if anyone had any dish ideas? Only thing is I prefere tinned tuna to tuna steaks..

Thanks biggrin

Open can.

Apply salad cream.

Eat from can.

It's the only way I can eat the tinned stuff, and I only ever eat it when I'm starving hungry and there's nothing else.

Fresh tuna on the other hand... As sashimi, ceviche or seared on a Salade Niçoise... cloud9

As in the lucy thread.. albeit described as a girly dish, wink

Simply with chopped celery, tomatoes, onions, and chilli and mayo.. works well. cheap too..

I've pretty much had every combo of tuna salads and sandwiches

Someone must have a 'different' tinned tuna dish!

I much prefer to row out to the middle of the ocean and catch my tuna using a spear fashioned out wood and a net. I'll then take it back to shore where it is blessed by nubile young virgins and then cooked over an open fire.

However its not the most convenient way to eat so when I cant do that I simply grab a tin out of the cupboard, fill a plate full of rocket, thinly sliced red onion, tinned tuna and then simply drizzle with good EV olive oil, fresh lemon juice and some cracked black pepper. Yummy.

Couscous. Throw hot water on it, wait a few minutes, mix in a tin of tuna. Done
