Can anyone recommend a nice restaurant around Staffordshire or even South Cheshire

It's for a 60th birthday lunch. This place http://www.swettenhamarms.co.uk/ in Congelton would have been ideal but the birthday lady would like to try somewhere else

Bear's Paw, Warmingham
Old Hall, Sandbach
Sutton Hall, Macclesfield (really excellent)
Bleeding Wolf, Church Lawton
Stafford Arms, Bagnall
HollyBush, Denford
Three Horseshoes, Blackshaw Moor

All reliable, nice pubs.

Sutton Hall is good, with decent beer smile
