Went to a Nandos before the cinema on Saturday, it was Mrs Tosser's idea, I am not keen on places where I have to queue up to give my order, I expect someone to take my order and bring everything to me at the table if I am eating out.
Anyway, with some reluctance I went there, simple enough system to place the order, though it seems I was supposed to take the appetiser with me from the order placement area, I didn't so someone brought it to the table, there was no cutlery in the recepticles and I had to return to the table a couple of times before I found any there.
So not a good start.
Now the good, the appetisers (mixed olives, and roasted red pepper dip with pitta) were both very good and the mains, we both had chicken breasts with a couple of side dishes, were pretty much faultless.
So while I will retain my eating preference of being waited on, my opinion of Nandos is actually quite good, good food, served with little delay at a reasonable price.

I am a big fan of said chain - It is the only "fast-Food" emporium I will ever visit and as you say, good tasty food at a reasonable price. Better still, one is opening in my town on 8th February so no more travelling 7 miles for a Nandos ;-)define 'reasonable price'.

I think it's pricey and if it's at all busy the layouts are usually s
t so the flow from door to till to table is crap. At this time of year the door is almost always open at busy times with people standing in it so if you're seated anywhere near it you have to keep your coat on.
I'll only go back if someone else is paying.

Not leaving feeling I have been ripped off.Good value for money.
Of course it is subjective, but I thought the price reasonable for what we received.
I am not saying I will rush back there as I prefer full table service, but neither will I avoid it as I would have done previously had my wife not suggested the place on Saturday.

Would like to get your recommendations for a cheaper/better value/tastier half chicken meal (chips and salad included) served on a proper plate with proper cutlery in a decent (for "fast food") restaurant environment. £7.00 for two chicken breasts? £1 each chicken wings? Have you tried joining the real world occasionally? There is a whole load of variety out there waiting for you, which doesn't require you to sit on your backside while underpaid staff run around for you. Some of my greatest eating experiences (Nando's intentionally excluded) have come at places where you don't have a traditional 'table service' model.
I can only suggest broadening your horizons somewhat, as Nando's is merely the tip of the iceberg.
