Currently staying at the McDonald by Piccadilly for a couple of days and am finding it a problem, does anyone know where I can get decent honest and fair priced grub? so far it's been a nightmare

Southern 11 in Spinningfields. Tampopo next to the town hall.

Choice in Castlefield. You're near Michael caines if you've got a good budget.

If you fancy a curry try Akbars on Liverpool road just off Deansgate (near the Hilton Hotel). Reasonably priced and great quality.

If you fancy Thai, Chaophraya just off King St is a great place. It's not cheap though.

Wings - great Chinese, but not cheap, I'm afraid.

Plumped for Mr Thomas, couple of bangers and mash and a fish pie, most excellent and cheap, will definitely return.
