where to eat in london £150 for 2
Discussion
have a reward of spending £150 on either lunch or dinner for 2 - where would you go - want to spend exactly that amount as im allowed £150 but no more and any less would be a waste!
any suggestions?
fancy somewhere trendy but not formal maybe a veggie or lebanese or something? cant be fish as the missus hates it!
thanks

I wouldn't bother spending that much on Lebanese restaurants - having been to countless ones in central london both high end and cheeper ones, my firends and I find the cheap places on Edgware road provide much better taste / food than the more upmarket ones so decided it wasn't worth spending the extra money- some of them are quite frankly rip offs.
If you wanted to try something different we really enjoyed the afternoon tea experience at the Dorchester and have been back quite a few times - very filling and leaves us stuffed the whole day. Not only is the quality really nice - but the general atmosphere was good - not stuffy or pretentious like we originally thought it may be.

Hazev in Canary Wharf is excellent for middle Eastern type food. Mind you, you'll not get near your budget unless you really work for it but the food is very good. Just make sure you leave room for desert! It's just a short walk from the tube station too, less than five minutes, right next to the Hilton hotel.
