Some people like good food, others eat at certain places because they think they need to be seen eating there or want to tell others about it.

It's the same with weird foods.

That's always been the case for some people, and will remain so.

I enjoy eating good food - the kind of stuff I can't cook myself. I'll pay good money for good food, too. I couldn't give a monkey's whose restaurant it is, or who else is eating there, I just want a decent meal. I think "proper foodies" feel the same way.

The flip side of that is that I'm also just as happy sitting in Bodeans stuffing myself with ribs and burnt ends, so I don't think I'm a food snob.
