Venison!

Love a bit of venison, me, but it's usually vastly expensive in restaurants.
I've recently found out that my local farm shop gets some in over winter, and it's cheaper than beef!
So there's now four steaks for me and a small joint for my folks currently sitting in my freezer.

I was in scotland on April, the further North we went the cheaper it got. It was five quid a kilo in a post office near Skye

Great how they sell things like Venison in post offices in the Highlands.

Was that the post office in Kyle? If so I usually go next door to the butchers.

Yup. It's amazing the mark-up on game.
£1/lb for a whole carcass is about the base price.(gralloched,head and feet off but skin on.)
