Just popped round to the inlaws for a curry as they'd 'ordered us a takeaway'

I asked for Chicken Tikka Masala. No problem, already ordered. Amazing.

But when I got there, I'm sharing it, with the rice, and the naan bread with the FIL. Half frickin' portions....... frown

Eaten it, but still starving. I've not been married long enough to cause uproar.

Can this subject be broached in a positive way? Everyone else is 'stuffed' with their half serving......

Good idea, but town is a few miles away, I'd burn more calories than I'd eat hehe

Personally I would kick off. Demand a beer. Demand the mother in law. Demand the younger sister.

Only if they are cute mind.

You need to stand up for your rights my good man.

Cheapskates! Have a word with the Mrs. Sharing a rice or naan could be excused, but not the main redface

Fat fks! Half a portion's plenty. Whenever I order for myself it's 1x Curry, Rice, Naan, Bhajis. Half today, half for dinner tomorrow. Sorted. The only reason you think that's how much you should eat is because that's how much they give you. Eat half, wait a while. I'm full, just not uncomfortably so like I would have been with the whole lot.

Did you make a point and only pay for half?

You gotta have a full curry, rice, naan, bhajis, chips and onion salad. Pointless otherwise.

i hate this, the only way to make sure it doesn't happen again, is find out what the FIL hates and order that.

Or order a Chicken Phal with extra chillis, he isn't going to share with you again.

But half of all of that = easily a whole plate of food. A whole plate of food = dinner. Oh look there's the same again left in the bag! Yay! Curry tomorrow too.

If they want stty half portions then that's up to them, but they should have ordered you your own.

Personally, I would have taken out my pocket knife and brutally murdered the lot of them, then sodomised the twitching bodies.

Then I'd eat all their curry too.

You have a point. He doesn't like massively spicy stuff. And he only likes chicken.....

Lamb Phal next time. With Garlic rice.

Oh, they ordered plain rice too, soo many choices. Plain rice. I think its a test.
