Surely Horseradish should be in the mix with this too, since Wasabi is essentially Japanese Horseradish.
I'd say that Mustard sits at the bottom of the pile, followed by Wasabi and then Horseradish. Some of the best Horseradish I've had was freshly ground and it felt like someone was squirting napalm up my nostrils with every taste. Fantastic stuff.

Wasabi for me. I'm actually consuming Wasabi Peas at the mo.
Where do you get them from?
I've only found them in Sainsburys once, and have never been able to find them again, despite asking too.
Only other place I can find to buy them in larger quantities is a few online stores. Bloody love the things!
What can you do with wasabi? Grreat with sushi, sure. Roast beef sandwich at a push, or get busy snorting it so your friends can see you cry...That's it!
Mustard's so versatile. So many varieties, different strengths. Marinades, sauces, you name it.
No contest.
Edit: How could I forget everyone's favourite Wasabi peas?!

Tesco, look for Humdinger Wasabi peas. They are found on the snacks area with the peanuts and stuff. I've only found them in Sainsburys once, and have never been able to find them again, despite asking too.

However, I do appreciate that this is PH and home to (powerfully built) company directors who would consider Budgens to be 'slumming it' and would have no desire to rub shoulders with riff-raff. Perhaps your manservant could pop in for you.....
