........because they seem to have disappeared.

In my yoof, the KFC Chicken Fillet Burger used to be a fat, suculant slab of chicken breast in a fresh bun.

Now you get skinny, manufactured tough old bits of chicken.

I'm willing to travel 5 miles from Clapham!!!

I quite often get Southern fried breaded chicken fillets from the hot food counter in Morrisions and make my own for lunch at work.

A little bit out of your way but if you are even in west yorkshire go to Marstons in Bradley (near huddersfield). Very highly recommended.

Automat in Mayfair has an amazing chicken fillet burger...probably the best chicken burger I have ever had. Mind you it's not cheap. I think it's about £14 for the burger which comes with fries.

However whether paying £14 for a burger is worth it is another question entirely... I would say probably not...

The GBK chicken burgers are alright. Much better than the KFC ones. Infact I have found that the KFC mini burgers taste and look a damn sight better than the full size ones
