Just thinking about what I have in the cupboards for when I have polished a few more beers off!

What's your favourite Saturday night munchies (if you have any)?

Chicken Pakora/Spicy Red Sauce/Poppadoms/Spiced Onions.

No need for a main course.

A cheese and pickle sarnie made from:

  • Bakers bread (buttered)
  • GRATED cheddar cheese (sliced isn't the same)
  • Branston pickle (the chunky version)
Perhaps with some salt and vinegar crisps and a mug of Tea

Old school that is, good choice tho. Personally it's a Chinese washed down with a few beers and a giant Aero bar smile

The remains of whatever filth you half munched as you stumbled in last night!

When I'm not trying to lose weight! frown

Two slices of 'proper' bread, toasted and buttered.
Put them side by side on a plate and top each with a thick slice of real ham.
On each ham slice put a pineapple ring (tinned will do).
Fill the hole in the ring with Branston pickle.
Smother each with a good strong cheddar, grated.
Put under grill (or microwave if you must!) until cheese is well melted.

Sit back and enjoy your Hawaiian toast!

yum

I have just stupidly, stupidly bought this:

Around 700,000 Scoville units (Tabasco is 2,500). It feels like somebody has torn off my lips, and I only tried.... well, an amount so tiny it probably can't be measured in millilitres. I should not be left home alone unsupervised.

Congratulations on your forthcoming ring sting Jay. ETA 3.49 am.

Good stuff that is. (the sauce not the sting)

I can't be arsed (no ring pun intended) so it's pizza delivery here... as per usual the old buy one get one free will probably mean I don't need to cook until Monday.
