Rowse Manuka honey
Discussion
Anyone tried / heard about this?
I heard about it a few weeks back, and despite not being especially big on honey figured I'd give it a try when I saw it in Sainsbury's - went for the 15+ one.
All I can say is oh my goodness. It's absolutely divine. I've not used it with anything yet, just tried it on it's lonesome, but it's seriously seriously lovely stuff. I suspect there's a great deal of marketing gone on to peddle the anti-bacterial properties etc (I know it's used to treat wounds etc), and the higher the number the more antibac it is, but all that guff cast aside, it's a stunning flavour and texture.
