My local go-to kebab shop has ruined doner for me, the last few times the meat has been so fatty and gamy that It felt like an actual lamb was in the room, pure filth.

I have been eating doner kebabs nearly weekly for 30 years, sad times!

After a lovely artisan pizza at the local pizza place my brother thought a kebab was required. Not my normal place as they’d not deliver.

This was pretty depressing for a chicken shish. I’ve had 3 pieces of chicken and can feel me getting up in the middle of the night with heartburn

The chips don't look battered to me which I think the Midland ones are. Happy to be corrected of course. They just looked the right level of crispy with what look like scraps!

I’m with you on it being ‘East Yorkshire” - being a West Yorkshire lad originally. We’ve North and South Yorkshire - so only natural to have an East Yorkshire too. (And they’re each a Riding too)

washed down with irn bru



far better than the hot counter at Asda. Their stuff is boxed and then put under the heat lamps. The result is the item swimming in its own juices so it's soggy and not crispy.

Believe it or not, that was a small chips!

I removed half the donner meat and will make a reheat wrap with that tomorrow and then picked away at the chips after finishing the burger.
