Home made pizza tonight.

Sauce made from home grown cherry tomatoes and a Lemonaki chilli.

Topped with pepper, cherry tomatoes, banana, Perri Perri chicken, Saint Agur blue, Mozzarella, cheddar and sweet chilli sauce.

Looks great, but lots of effort and mess for little reward I always find with this type of thing.

I pub I went to a long time ago did a 'pint of prawns' which sounds great, until you realise its about 4 of them and a small mouthful each after 10 minutes of faffing and mess... all for 14 quid of course.

okay, this cannot go unchallenged

Banana... WTF are you on!! I'm going to guess you are near Totnes and either purposefully inhaled or passive smoked whilst walking up the High Street!

Banana.. !!! Go on, tell me why?

hehe As it goes i do live about 10 miles from Totnes, but that is definitely not my scene.

Where I use to work years ago, Globe Inn in Frogmore if you know it, we did a 3B pizza. Banana, Bacon and Blue cheese. Banana being sweet actually goes really well on pizza, especially next to the saltiness of Bacon. Works well even without the Bacon, you should try it.

Bananas make me gag. The smell, not the deep throating.

Wouldn't put them on Pizza, but it's not unusual to put banana on Curries in some parts of the world.
