Last night i had a hat trick, large fries, coke and a 3 for £3 where I got the chicken nuggets, the mayo chicken and the veggie dippers. Also got the garlic mayo dip.

The hat trick burger is better than a triple cheese burger and bigger but its not different enough really. First time I had ever had the veggie dippers, Jesus they are awful! I cant imagine why you would want a whole meal of those it would just feel like you had raided an Iceland freezer.

The garlic mayo is a bit odd to IMO tastes very fake

works well with the chicken selects. idk why McDs don't have mayo as a dip option.

It’s always been strange that they don’t

I'm surprised mould could actually grow on it.

If you leave anything long enough mould will grow on it.

McD's buns are high in sugar so they caramalise quickly when toasted, maybe that sped up the mould growth.

Still no excuse for not spotting that before the customer.

Ok so I tried a burger for the first time since they changed the method/ingredients. Just went for a cheeseburger as I was walking past and wanted to see if I could tell the difference.

In short, yes, it is a much tastier burger. You seem to be able to taste the seasoning more, the burger itself has more flavour and adding he onions dials them back a touch. The bun is very different, but I don't think I'm a fan. It has a chewier texture that I just don't usually associate with McD buns. Holds it's form much better but gone is that pillowy bite, instead you find yourself having to work more to get through it. I'm sure it's something you get used to but can't help feeling it's a bit of a downgrade.

Given what we now know about that documentary and Morgan I really wouldn't take anything in it as approaching factual smile

Ah, the new and improved version, whether it is improved or not depends upon whether you are the customer or the business.

There used to be livestream of the last Mcdonalds burger in Iceland, 15 years on still looks edible
https://www.bushostelreykjavik.com/last-mcdonalds-...

Wonder if the changing recipe is why there's now multiple reports of moldy buns coming through?

The skin on fries are a great improvement. Still beaten by Aldi frozen fries, but at least they arent the anaemic horrors of the past

True but more often they are cold and they are never crispy

Are Aldi frozen fries the best supermarket chip in your opinion?
