My take on spaghetti and meatballs, but using pork faggots in gravy with veg and tom paste. Very nice it was too.

Christ steady with a photo like that, you’ll give poor old ferret a heart attack!

Looks good, bit of a winter warmer though. Saying that, I had a jacket potato for lunch!

There are 3 grades of frozen peas in my local supermarket… regular, fino and muy fino… the baby peas (muy fino) are lovely… sweet!

The runny stuff is ok if it's melted cheese. If it's egg then it's a no from me.

Last night was hot and humid, no enthusiasm for cooking. All purchased from my local dodgy food emporium, purveyors of comestibles from questionable origins.

Zec biscuits, almost like Ritz, bit salty, not suitable as a cracker. Green pack, a nice surprise; light on flavour, ideal as base biscuit. Of course none of these are a suitable replacement, for Carr’s Water Biscuits.

Cheese triangles, bit chalky in texture, certainly no ‘Laughing Cow’ or even ‘Dairy Lee’, taste just average. Duck Liver Pâté, creamy and pleasant enough, certainly not artisan, more industrial unit.

Verdict: Below average.

Cheers buddy! From memory they were the ore seasoned ones from Aldi, done for about 10 minutes in the top plate of our ActiFry. They tasted just as good as they looked smile

Beef stroganoff

A dish I’ve loved since my mum 1st cooked it back in the 70’s.
