The Nürnberger Bratwurst are worth a try.

Tasty little sausages ideal for BBQs since they're already cooked and just need crisping up.

Great in a baguette with fried onions and mustard.

Came here expecting to see Costco mentioned in the first few replies!!

They are rather tasty. To be perfectly honest though the best dogs in town are often found in the local butchers.

Indeed they do...imagine being served these without being told there is cheese in them, biting in to it and finding yellow stuff oozing out of what is cheap meat.

I have observed, but never bought, hot dogs in jars sold by Aldi in Portugal.

How should one prepare these for a bread roll, please?

And will unused ones keep in the fridge?

Given he was looking for 'texture' I didn't think we were sticking exclusively to franks as they're pretty much all the same kind of salty mush.
