Come to London for the week. There are 80 Weatherspoons across the 32 London boroughs. Or if down for the day, 12 in Central London you could visit easily.
It used to be this 12 but I don't think the The Knights Templar is a Wetherspoons any more. https://www.mylondon.news/whats-on/whats-on-news/r...
1.The Lord Moon Of The Mall - Whitehall
2. The Moon Under Water - Leicester Square
3. Montagu Pyke - Soho
4. Shakespeare’s Head - Holborn
5. Penderal’s Oak - Holborn
6. The Knights Templar - Chancery Lane
7. The Sir John Oldcastle - Farringdon
8. Hamilton Hall - Liverpool Street Station
9. The Goldman’s Field - Whitechapel
10.The Liberty Bounds - Tower Hill
11.The Crosse Keys - Leadenhall Market
12.The Sir John Hawkshaw - Cannon Street

anyone know what curry sauce and chips wetherspoons use?
some sources say the chips are McCains (unsure which variant/cut. although I have no idea what they use for the curry sauce.
They say McCains but apparently you cannot buy them in supermarkets or shops so who knows.some sources say the chips are McCains (unsure which variant/cut. although I have no idea what they use for the curry sauce.
The Jalfrezi with the rice and thick chips and free drink for £6.45 is superb value at Spoons.

Designed to be deep fried (and deep fried only, no oven, air fryer etc). From memory, they have a slight coating to make them crispy but it's been years since I worked in foodservice
So do quite a lot of oven chips, these days. We have to watch for that, as my wife mustn’t eat gluten.Brianstorm said:
Went to my 52nd Wetherspoons yesterday The Winter Gardens in Harrogate and it is now the best one i have been to. My previous favourite was the Wallow in Blyth but the interior of the Winter Gardens is fantastic.
Just come back from a weekend in Harrogate and popped into the Winter Gardens for a couple of pints on Friday evening. £3.75 for a pint of lager is a nice surprise when I am used to £6 and upwards in London.
