Some yummy looking breakfasts and it's nice to see some angular plates as well, maybe us "non-roundies" can start a revolution and show the world (or forum at least) that a full English is so much better on a square plate, its like playing a game of Tetris with sausages and bacon - everything has its place and fits perfectly.
Rarely is someone so wrong that we suspect them of being American whilst in possession of a computer, but this is getting close.SpeckledJim said:

Jesus Christ.Burgers and a choice of cavity wall insulation doth not a breakfast make.
The sausage patties were really nice as were the pancakes. I’ve had better scrambled egg but 2 out of 3 is good. I had tomato sauce for the sausage and syrup for the pancakes but as has been said, accidental syrup and sausage occurred and It goes well.
Might cook my own breakfast in the morning depending how much sleep the baby allows me tonight before work.

I think “Sausage Syrup Cross contamination” is an accidental occurrence , but having had it can say it’s nice, but likely to be derided if done on purpose.
Why not put them on different plates if they are not suppose to be mixed. I wouldn't put toast and marmalade on the same plate as my fry upCharlesdeGaulle said:

TaM is the perfect finish to a FEB but not on the same plate.
Must be on white bread that has gone slightly cold.
Completely agree. You are wise in the ways of the FEB.Must be on white bread that has gone slightly cold.
What's toast made from?
It was £3.50 on an eat in basis on the Royal Mile and very tasty, no matter how low you mark it I'm taking it as a win
I got into a discussion with a member of staff in the hotel restaurant regarding the concept of the "over sausage" as their buffet option had changed to an ordering process due to COVID and I wondered if this had impacted gluttony levels. You can still have as much as you like, as many times as you like, but you have to ask rather than skulk away with a pocket full of delights.
He suggested that his "record" for a sausage order was a frankly paltry 4, you can't even make a pyramid out of 4.
