The professional level buttering just screams winner.

It’s definitely a junior bolide.
Buttering is a solid 8.5/10. He could have gone to the edges a bit more.
I’d argue the unbuttered edges allow for the collection of melted butter and bacon fat but 8.5 is more than fair. It’s a lovely, envy inducing effort.

A lightly fried egg and some foliage, would have elevated the experience.

I did consider an egg or two but felt the shape of the bread was against it. I'll try to find a suitable round bun for the next attempt on a full bolide.

As for foliage: just fk right off.

Unusually thick cut streaky, quite lean and ‘doubles’.

I’ve been surprised at the quality of Co Op bacon lately.

So, I fried the perfect egg, yolk bang in the middle of the white, put it in the bagel took a big bite, the yolk came up through the hole of the bagel and made a mess. Addition of greenery equals no mess.

Looks nice. Clean, simple. Needs brown sauce though.

I buy the co op bacon too.

Has anyone tried the Aggy Fries at Nanny Bills?

They look absolutely scrummy, but all the locations are a bit far pour moi.

hand pressed fking burgers, they can piss right off with all that nonsense. A decent buger is just that, doesn't need some poncy marketing faff to describe just so it appeals to the bearded Millenials.

And as has been said, its not breakfast! rofl
This is one of those new trend things but it's delicious tbh.

Personal preference, but I'm a huge fan of the smash/press patties stacked up with American cheese between each one. I much prefer it over a thick, coarse burger.

They are thin, flat, loads of surface area, meaning loads of area for caramelization/crust whilst still being juicy because they take about 90 seconds to cook.

I much, much prefer this style of burger to a pub/steakhouse old school thick one.

I really don't 'get' bagels.

They seem, to me, to the most boring, stodgy item of food on the planet.

Have a roll, umpteen choices. Or a slice, or chunk of bread.

Another of the £7 specials. This particular establishment is also open on Sunday mornings. You’re welcome.

Chain or independent?

Independent. Proper old school greasy spoon, used by lots of tradies. I’m absolutely certain none of the food is artisanal/ethically sourced/organic/hand crafted/small batch. It IS cheap.
