Little Pete; the scrambled eggs look lush, is the sheen on the sour dough down to frying? Either way looks nice.

48K: looks a nice simple offering but none the less good, I’m a fan of square/oblong plates. Very pleased to see the baby food presented in a ramakin, so it can be easily off loaded.

CdG; strong approval of the foliage, scrambles on point, shrooms looking good, cobbs/bapps/rolls or what ever you continentals call them, in need of some salted butter.

Carlos996; nicely buttered toast, bacon and bangers look good, scrambled pleasant enough. WTF is with the red stuff, maybe on a children meal to aesthetically please them, otherwise it’s a no.
Plenty of butter on the toast.

Ketchup is totally acceptable with breakfast, goes well with bacon although I prefer brown sauce with sausages smile
I’m afraid I feel a need to counter this; I can’t think of a single food where the addition of ketchup adds an improvement to the experience, in fact quite the opposite.

I will go as far as saying, it may be an ideal barometer, when choosing a suitable partner.

Using PH as a starting base for dating may throw up larger issues than a preference for ketchup.

Maybe not on a breakfast (though partial to the odd bacon roll with Ketchup if over did it the night before) But hot salted french fries (not you insipid McDonalds I hasten to add) But from a Fritierie in Belgium/Holland - a dollop of Ketchup to dip into is lovely (though would take mayonnaise over Ketchup anyway)

It seems as though he has quite a bit of ketchup yet, on current affairs within thread.

The 'red stuff' is ketchup. WTF is with it is 'tomatoes, sugar, and vinegar, with seasonings and spices'

HTH

Sausages are made for ketchup, or Ballymaloe...

Always go for cherry tomatoes with breakfast...easier to break down and you're not left with that lukewarm bit in the middle.

I’m too embarrassed to admit how much I paid for this breakfast, but it was nice. Two fried eggs (yolks over-cooked), overnight bacon, mushrooms, home made beans, sausage “pattie” and sourdough toast.

An excuse to pre-cook the bacon and leave the ‘chef’ to focus on perfecting his egg technique.

Quick Google search suggests that it might be cooked sous-vide overnight then crisped up in a pan.

Oops forgot to Google that one. Wouldn't be my choice, I like back or middle cut fried so I can then use the bacon fat to fry the eggs... (not keep them warm under a heat lamp like the ones in that photo).
