Bought some bottles from a local monastery the other day, apparently one of them is best if left a couple of years though.

Has anyone tried Mad Squirrel?
Their NEIPA (Roadkill) and West Coast IPA (Big Sea) are great as is $umo.Sappy, which has now sadly been discontinued, is one of my favourite beers ever.
These were last nights beers
This was a slightly cloudy Double IPA with big flavours from a relatively new outfit Turning Point (3 years old). There was definitely a 8.5% hit but very drinkable.
Roosters have been going for a while in the Harrogate area and have recently moved round the corner from me. This is a extension of their Baby faced Assassin beer which is a 6%’er. Another very drinkable beer but not as big flavours as the first but still packed full of flavours.

My Beer52 supply ran out earlier than expected so found a local taproom. After this purchase, it's safe to say Beer52 is a bargain.
Usually specialised beer shops keep the best of beers. The prices reflect that. They also steer away from beers that are sold in the supermarket. Edited by Motoring12345 on Saturday 16th May 01:48
That Wildcard cherry gose is a Tesco beer. Even by supermarket standards it's not very good.
Tesco has (fairly) recently started stocking some decent 440ml cans of craft beers from the likes of Cloudwater, Magic Rock, Tiny Rebel and London Beer Factory plus some of the collaborations with them and the likes of Drewdog. They were on 3 for £5 last week but sadly don't seem to be as of this weekend. Decent selection of DHH, NE and West Coast IPAs in particular. I've got a real soft spot for the Tiny Rebel X Polly's Brew "Pineapple Express IPA" at the moment, perfect pairing with a nice juicy burger.
By and large the specialists are definitely better though.
