Just popped in for some inspiration for tonight. Just back from holiday and no food in the house.

Pizza? Kebab? Fish and Chips? Curry?

I'm thinking large mixed kebab and a small pizza.

I'll take that! Free garlic bread with cheese and 40% off when you spend £25 hsnce the chips and cheese for added cholesterol.

Yeah good call, otherwise it's the high speed trip back down the A19 with windows/sunroof open to disperse the heavy air - fingers crossed Mr Chips should sort the job out for you, heard good things about them for a few years now.
Unfortunately Mr Chips was closed, so whizzed into the town centre and went to a takeaway called Papa Maf's, opposite the Travelodge, which I'd used once before.

Behold....

Half parmo with mushrooooooms, turned down the salad in favour of more chips. Looks filthy but tastes great!

No cans of Raid in our house as there are far more fun ways of dispatching winged annoyances.

Shall I just use this?
I bought one of these a while ago, and it’s honestly amazing. I thought I might end up having spent sixty-odd quid on a big silly toy, but living in the countryside there’s a steady stream of flies finding their way in each summer, and this thing obliterates them. If any fly lands, it’s immediately dead.
Just ordered one of these, looking forward to trying it out!

I bought one last year, only downside is the salt that ends up everywhere!

Hmmmm yes I did comment that earlier, that'd be my only worry, finding salt everywhere......bit like sand if you live near a beach I imagine.

Damn, sorry to hear that! Still a good effort, nice to see more Parmos creeping in now and again - glad to hear it hit the spot cool

With no can of Raid it's hard to judge the bab but that looks substantial....

I'd say it was a can and a quarter of de-icer in length and girth - certainly substantial.

Chonky.

What's on the pizza btw? I'm between ham or pickled onions looking at it rofl

Looks very gourmet, re-enforced by the fact they haven't cut it.
