Okay, so this is interesting and all, but what I really wanna know is, what’s the best pasty OUTSIDE of Cornwall?

You cannot (under protected status) make a Cornish pasty anywhere else than Cornwall. A 'Cornish' pasty made in Hampshire is just a pasty.
Like Melton Mowbray pork pies can only come from there.
My mistake they’re made in Cornwall but the company is registered in Hampshire. Corrected my post but you beat me. Like Melton Mowbray pork pies can only come from there.

But even then you have to be careful. In their shop they sell two types, white wrapper and blue wrapper, with only the white being made in melton Mowbray as the blue wrapped are made outside the town and sold to supermarkets Like Melton Mowbray pork pies can only come from there.

Yeh, don't get any mass produced ones!
Best bet is from a small bakery / deli or something, it will be obvious they are hand made...
I had a good one in Fowey "Kittows of Fowey" butcher....
