Lineup is looking pretty sick this year ...
So far the UK have confirmed we have some WW2 fighters / bombers to display !!....
Pretty P155 poor I think with the defence cuts and operational duty.. is this the end of the airshow as we know it ?
It's a shame but I doubt if it's one of Cameron's priorities, we already know he isn't overly Air Minded by the way he slashed everything he could. So far the UK have confirmed we have some WW2 fighters / bombers to display !!....

Even programmes that could have lasted a while longer have had it...

Just look at the declining variety of Airframe types, Airshows can only become less interesting as time progresses. There are simply not the numbers of types or the numbers of squadrons in operation to create the spectatcular airshows of the past imho!So far the UK have confirmed we have some WW2 fighters / bombers to display !!....

Sad unfortunately.
and I suppose the overseas element will be heavily restricted too
(It seems all the money got spent... Everywhere)

Last year was pretty poor, with large gaps in the program and massive spaces on dispersal where once there would've been airframes wedged in together. Seemed to be a heavy reliance on civilian operators too.So far the UK have confirmed we have some WW2 fighters / bombers to display !!....

Gone are the days when there was one of every type in the fleet on display, even if it meant road-moving them there.
Its only April, there will be additions as and when its known what can attend. What with the various anniversaries going on this year I suspect there will be some more interesting stuff coming along.
I agree its not as good as it used to be but its still great entertainment. I'm looking forward to seeing the A-10 Thunderbolt display for the first time in many years.
