Formation Flying over Brough Yesterday

As I was driving towards Brough (East Yorkshire) yesterday say some very low military aircraft flying in formation. Did a couple of loops around.

Was this anything to do with the Hawks going out of business?

A show-off for the BAE workers possibly?

Or harriers or whatever they are.

Brough is NOTAM'd as being occasionally active for a limited amount of fast jet traffic.

I think BAe's intention is to sell it off for housing in the near future though.

Yes - I'm used to seeing regular jet movements around but this was definitely something different.

Very low, not overly quick, and definitely in formation with a different plane taking 'the lead' one each 'lap'.

The Dominie is going out of service around now and had formation flypasts and practices planned - could it have been this? (Dominie = HS125 Bizjet size)
