Reminds me of an Aussie F-111 crew that attempted to get airborne in the '70s from a rather wet runway. Just as they were nearing rotate speed they suffered a double engine flameout due to water ingestion, followed by nil braking action as the aeroplane was by now handling more like a powerboat. Faced with the end of the runway approaching at a higher rate of knots than they would consider ideal, the crew then proved that the F-111's ejectable crew module worked just fine when fired on the ground.

Water injection was common on earlier jets such as the original Boeing 707 and DC-8. This was the reason why their take-offs were notoriously smokey.Seemed he tried to unstick once and failed?
