Space Shuttle Still flying ?

Now I'm pretty damn sure that they said the last mission, was the last mission, or is it my imagination ?

There are two definite misions left (including the current one). There is a possibility of a third as well.

There is a regular Space Shuttle launch thread running in the "Boats, Trains and Planes" forum which always springs to life when a mission is iminent.

Today's launch has been scrubbed, by the way.

TBF to the OP, I think they'd announced that the last mission was the last mission for that particular orbiter.

Last planned Mission for that Shuttle, Atlantis.

Last planned flight of Discovery today.

Last planned flight of Endeavour and last ever planned Shuttle launch Feb 26th, 2011.

One further flight but not yet funded or approved penciled in for June 2011.
