I'm sure there are. I see them all the time. According to G-INFO there are 126 on the G reg.Years ago West London Aero Club at White Waltham had two, and used them for 'stalling and spinning' training
- the PA28s being considered far too benign. Big breakfast not recommended for those days

Great Chipmunk memories, had 2 AEF's while in the ATC, and 45 minutes aerobatics back in '86!
Still remember how tight those straps were when walking out to aircraft, you couldn't stand straight, parachute was your seat, and the helmet/bonedome got heavier the more 'g' pulled.
Oh and the groundcrew chap/person tucked a sick bag under a strap after strapping you to the aircraft...nice!

There have been a number of conversions over the year - but I like traditional Chippies myself. Was allowed crawl all over the Royal Navy Historic Flight's example by a very nice Chieffie at Yeovilton this year.A lot easier to keep tugging than a Major

There are a couple still at Waltham, although not on the club fleet - almost all of the poor old things have migrated into private hands, and lead a more gentle and pampered existence.Waltham has been having some fuel supply issues recently though - the new fangled pumps and self-service machine have been having the occasional brain-fart - and both Blackbushe and Booker are convenient alternatives to refuel at if the local facilities are kaput. So it might be a visitor from 10 minutes away. It could also equally well be a visitor from practically anywhere, but Blackbushe isn't generally regarded as a place you'd make a specific journey to visit just to soak up the atmosphere, or for the cuisine.

I've seen Chipmunks at Blackbushe on a number of occasions, but none have been based there for many years.
