Vulcans in Thunderball

I'm currently watching Thunderball for the 1st time in about 20years and I never realised there were Vulcans in the film,

Question is does anyone know which ones were used?

It was filmed at RAF Waddington in Lincolnshire. My late grandfather was in the RAF Police there at the time, I think. A bit of Googling will probably tell you which squadrons were involved.

On a smaller scale, one of the scale models used in the sea landing is at Bruntingthorpe and was used to raise funds for XH558. This may or may not have been the same model sold on Ebay a few years ago.

The one used for the underwater filming was in fact a load of covered scaffold. Its still in place (the scaffold) in the bahamas. Only a few meters away is one of the wrecks used on Never say never again

Uselsss trivia, a mate of mine was an extra in Thunderball.

He did 3 or 4 days work as one of the bad-guy divers. He's never been able to pick himself out in the film though!

They're quite central to the plot.. Both in the build up to the theft.. and the crash landing in the Bahamas...

That's like watching Moonraker and missing the Shuttle....

I'm going with the same answer for 1 & 4. The jetski is called the 'Wetbike' and he unpacks it and builds it on the sub before heading for Atlantis. The keyring is used in 'The living Daylights' to gas the prison guard and lated to blast the pillar onto the American arms dealer bloke.

I haven't got a clue about 2 but I reckon 3 is 'Live and Let Die' when he's woken up by M knocking on the door while he's in bed with the Italian chick - Bond presses a button on the watch and it lights up. Shortly afterwards, he gets the Rolex Submariner back off Q

I was just looking for the serial numbers for the B1's used in 'Thunderball' My brother-in-law's father flew it in the movie.
