Was out at the lakes in milton keynes earlier and saw what I'm 95% sure was a lancaster bomber. Just doing turns over MK.

Was there a show on? Or just an owner out flying.

Awesome to see these still flying.

Just the one at the moment.

There is an airworthy one in Canada too but it is temporarilly grounded at the moment.

Didn't actually see it, but there was a fly-by for Bletchley Park (50yrs for something I believe), The Red Arrows came over at about 5pm(ish) as well - Which I did see, came pretty much over my garden, making lots of noise... coolcoolcool

Santa Pod was a WW2 airfield (RAF Poddington).

I didnt see the Lanc yesterday but I did see the Dakota thats also part of the memorial flight yesterday. Also spotted a Spitfire on Sunday so assume the memorial flight boys had a busy weekend of it. I will dig out some photos from last year of the Lancaster when I get home.

Awesome info guys. Feel rather priviledged to have seen it.

Thinking about it, he was doing turns over Bletchley way, which makes sense.
