Popham Fly-In Sunday 10th

A bit late notice, but I'm off to Popham (near Basingstoke) to see the Vintage Cessna Fly-In today.

How well attended was it Eric? - one of the local PA32 drivers went down there, but thought it was slightly quieter than the usual Popham fly-ins, partly due to other events at Kemble, and the fly-in at Brimpton - a charming rural airstrip just north of Aldermaston. Apparently they had over 100 aircraft at Brimpton, where the hell they put them all I don't know!

I enjoyed it - precisely BECAUSE it wasn't too busy. About ten vintage Cessnas tuened up - plus some other intersting oldies such as a couple of Druine Turbulents and a Puss Moth.
