I know up until a few years ago there were several running the trans-atlantic route...

But once the service ended... where did the planes go?

Are any still in a useable condition or did they all get broken up for parts or stuck in museums?

Im sure I heard that Branson wanted to buy them.... Anyone got any pics?

There is a Concorde at Barbados airport if that's any help. Google and Wikipedia may help shed further light...

I haven't got any pics of him buying Concord. Will this do?

There's one at Brooklands museum. Pays your money you can take a look around it.

That'll be one that didn't have the fuel tanks modified after the accident and so to get it there they chopped the wings off it ensuring it'll never get off the ground again!! 2@s!!!

It was sat outside when I had a tour round it. There was some talk of putting in a hangar eventually.

No, it's out in the open as an exhibit.

It's at British Aerospace's airfield in Filton. You can just see it from the road as you drive through Filton.

Every Concorde ever built still survives, except for the Air France one that crashed and one other Air France machine that was scrapped. All the rest are in museums or in storage.

Just sat outside for now. They are planning a new building for it but there are apparently rare newts in the way (I kid you not). These are presumably the same rare newts which are holding up our A34 bypass but I digress.... ranting

Concorde is at the Aviation Viewing Park on which is well signposted along with a few other retired airliners.

There is one in New York (the bds don't deserve it since it was the Americans pride that caused Concorde's downfall imo).

There is one at Filton, Bristol, where the thing was designed biggrin I was actually right near the airport when it flew overhad and landed on its final flight.

Amazing scene!! A real great of British ( and i suppose a little bit of French wink ) engineering
