Anyone know what sort of money it would cost to replace an air valve on an inflatable? It is a Bombard Aerotec. Dont really fancy doing it myself as it probably wont end well. Also is it a service most boat places will do?

Bloody thing keeps going down and we are running out of summer.

Cheers

Are the valves fixed? On our Bombard they just unscrew.

Seems to be glued in around the sides for the whole valve, only a small screw inside to let the air out. I think it is the seal inside which has broken.

Sounds quite different then - ours has a one way valve that comes out completely when you want to deflate it, and a cap that screws on to seal it when you inflate it.

I don't know who is likely to do a repair like that, but there is a list of Bombard dealers on their website. - link

Mate, take it down to Bishopthorpe, the place near the Octagonal chinese restaurant should be able to sort it, they do a fair few inflatables. Give me a shout if you get lost.
