12th and 13th July is also Duxford Flying Legends. Why do the best airshows always clash. Yeovilton is on the 5th July.

hehe

The only one I've missed due to being in Ibiza..

It was directly in front of our beach hut too mad

Good show nonetheless considering it's free, I usually get down nice and early and have a fry up on the beach biggrin

I heard the Lowestoft organisers were hoping the Vulcan would be there, but no confirmation as yet.

We have got the Typhoon this year bounce Unfortunately there's a conflict going on, so RAF participants (Jaguars/Tornadoes) are a bit thin on the ground (apparently)

That's what i've been told anyway.

I believe, Waddington. My sister's been doing some work on it so it's an "authoritative source".

Saying that, my sister has been known to be spectacularly wrong before....

Good question. Personally I favour Farnborough, for its flying display. Fairford has a good flight line-up but because of the open vista and size of Fairford the display loses some of its impact. Farnborough however is more compact with a tight display envelope and for me that makes the displays much more dramatic (if that makes sense nuts)

Fairford is HUGE so it can be overwhelming.

Farnborough is more compact with a much shorter flying display. The static display is much smaller with a lot more civilian aircraft on display. Of course, Farnborough has the huge chalets and display halls which are fascinating in their own right.
