Is this being put into production, and how much will it cost

Basically this guy in Abersoch has taken moulds from an S1 Esprit bodyshell, made a hull out of the lower VARI section, taken the roof section out so you just step straight in, and put an outboard in the engine bay.

I can see the potential market for this being humungous (who hasn't wanted to sail ashore in 007's Esprit?), and the basic concept seems quite cheap to build (it's just a VARI-sealed two-part plastic shell with an off-the-shelf outboard attached), but I can't find anything out about it bar the info on their website.

Do any of the boat people on here know what's going on with the project?

Because I want one. Badly.

Admittedly its vaguely cool, but isn't it ultimately just an underpowered motor boat with no ability to go underwater and no ability to drive on land? In which case, I'm out.

It is a boat, not a submarine or an amphibious car, that I can accept. Surely the power depends on the outboard fitted?
