I don't know if its me or has anyone else noticed that all the jetski's are 200 horsepower or more, with the cost of fuel the way it's going I just cant afford one of them and in all honesty don't see the point of paying best part of ten or eleven grand to scare myself stless. What I am looking for is a Yamaha waveblater 1 preferably a 1996/7 twin carb version, I had one of these about five or six years ago and sold it and have regretted it ever since, they are only about seventy horsepower and only can carry one person so if there is anybody that has one sitting in there garage and needs the space and cash please give me a call on 01702 201898 or 07817814875 ask for Bob...Cheers

ski's like the ultra 250x etc are fantastic but very expensive and very very juicy so unless your on a lake there is no way of having fun out at sea as you will empty the tank quickly and easy.

look into yamaha vx110 they are quick cumfy very economical and very stable

quick search on ebay shows this one what a fantastic colour

I've got a Kawasaki Ultra 150 sitting in my garage. It's partly dismantled as its lost compression on the 3rd cylinder down to a scored bore. Parts are going to cost around £300 from the states to get it up and running again I just don't seem to get the time to fix it.

The ski is a 2001 MY
3 cylinder 1200 two stroke 150BHP
Has around 55-60 hours on it
Performance scoop gate, sponsons and air filter. Their R&D from memory

It will nudge 70 on a flat day and is a right hoot to ride.

So make me an offer if you’re interested. The ski is located in Bucks

if you still want a blaster 1 get on PWC forums follow spoons link.

big daft Si HAs A blaster 1 going, think its a single carb model.

I race an HX in the jsra, and own an stage 1 tuned rxp, I ride em both as much as each other.

fuel prices are a bummer, but any fast stuff is expensive.

And Hi Spoons by the way!!

Was it not the B2 in 96 with twin carbs??
Agreed, some of the new skis are a tad thirsty, indeed last bank holiday, running a new RXP X for a demo day, we managed to kill 420 litres over 2 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Yet an old X2 we also used as a fun craft only used 3 tanks, but then again, most were swimming behind it, trying to get on!!

I know what you mean about fuel costs. Used to have a Polaris 1100 which was 120bhp If I remember correctly and we would fill it with 50 litres and a have 20 litre jerry can and we'd used it on a single beach day. This was a few years back. Fuel for the ski plus travel to the beach and back and it would be £100 a day hobby.
