Sailing Ship Building Video
Discussion
Some of you may know I'm involved with the charity Jubilee Sailing Trust
I recently discovered a YouTube video taken at various stages of the 3.5 year build of the Trust's tall ship TENACIOUS, which is also the largest wooden sailing ship to be built in the UK for over 100yrs.
I was lucky enough to be involved in the build project from an empty shed to the maiden voyage.
Shippy/boaty types may be interested.

We used to drive down to see the build every couple of months or so,
unfortunaly my spare time became sparce not long after she was rolled and we didnt visit after then
I've only seen pics of her since
would love to see the finished ship for real............strangely I feel attached to it; may be because I saw the work and breathed the smells in the yard
being involved as you were must surely been a remarkable experience.

I served my apprenticeship as a shipwright.
Over the years, I`ve built trawlers, yachts and workboats .
My most exciting project, was to convert "Blue Magic," a superyacht from 35m to 40m in Port Canto Cannes in 1993. When the project was complete, they changed the name to "Basic Instinct."
Why ? because the following week, Sharon Stone chartered her.
My last project was a 28ft river cruiser for Medway Kingfisher Trust.
I would`ve loved to have been in on the build of TENACIOUS
