Nice one, so is that what you do? I'd love to do something like that for a living.

I do the odd one if good friends are running the boats . I used to run sail then powerboats in the Caribbean with my wife as the chef. Can be hard work on charter though and the longest i was away from the boat below was 6hrs in 13 months .All the maintenance etc you do yourself in Carib unlike the Med Still good fun good money .The good old days ,mostly teach it all up hear in North Wales now http://www.abersochsailingschool.com/index.htm , and run our business www.toplineyachtcharters.com

Me looking like i am about to fall in .

Lived on this one for 2 years ,fantastic boat and Cat convert after years of mono-hull offshore racing .

Mateus no 2003 , yep old styling tell you what though very well thought out for charter 3 equal cabins and great deck layout , some of these more funky trendy boats are useless for this and are often designed by people with no experience of living or working and having to deliver a good charter.
Its one thing making a trendy owners boat ,this is a different thing i see your profile and what you do , i have been on many boats and often thought have the designers or builders ever been to sea or do they just live a marina in Med and go out once a year . Also boat design needs to differ from intend cruising area boats for U.K , Med and Carib tend to need a very different spec sheet.
And for your info i am a qualified yacht designer and engineer .

Never did the charter /Skipper thing I had too much going on at home left it to my mates, I expect we probably know the same crowd, I think I know your name you may have delivered a couple for us..... do you know Matt Higham?

PS I help design build from the barrel to the customer. Doing it now for 18 years.

No his name does not ring a bell, I was down that way for a while running a old racing ( early 70's )Maxi called Mistress Quickly , but when down in the Med i have not really been anywhere for long enough to get to now Many of the crews although X Carib crews who have gone that way.I suppose also the Med attitude is very different than the Carib , where there are less crews and more camaraderie and we go to other peoples boats at night on anchor instead of a bar , especially as the boat one's are always free!
