Ive seen a few on the road being towed...

I think its a honda challenge boat ...

Honda gfx, and a 100hp HOnda Motor on the back. looks about 20ft

Have searched the honda website, but cannot find a dealer who actually sells them

Would imagine they're only available through Honda: http://www.honda-racing.co.uk/championships/2007/h...

Originally used an Extreme (Previously Ring) 21 IIRC, but later given a facelift.

Very fast too ! I have had a ride in a Ring 21 (the pre-facelift model) and this was touching 65-70 knots ! I believe they have a foot pedal to move you along. Also they have a water tank at the front which you can regulate how much water you want displaced at the bow to keep the nose end down. I don't know whether they still use this method though.

Oh I forgot to add that this one I had a ride in was either 200HP or 225HP.

70 knots! No chance. 70 Mph would be realistic.
(FWIW all pitot speedo's over-read, with the exception of the liquic filled livorsi one)

Oh yeh, foot throttle, bow tank etc are all par for the course. You really need both hands for the steering, so a hand throttle on anything "hi-po" (unless driven by 2 people, 1 driver, 1 throttle) is pretty much the norm.
