Anyone on here doing the Benateau Cup or the Silicon Cup and if you are what boat are you on.

Can't wait and the missus is taking part in the Benateau Cup - just warming her up for a purchase.

there's still time... you don't 'have' to buy a bendytoy!

did that a fair few years back when i helping to flog new bendytoys at ancasta... iirc, i got very very very very drunk... seem to recall an incident involving a (then young) madame beneteau (niece of the lady that owns the beneteau group).

as for silicon cup... i'm sure we sponsored that the other year...

are you after a trim-trim racy cruiser?

Well, had an absolute blast at the Benateau Cup and despite the weathers best efforts to spoil the weekend, had a totally enjoyable time of it, and to top it all came back with some honour for the skipper.

Overall we had wone the White fleet honours with 3 wins and a 3rd, and after a race with Eauvation from the IOM when after 11 miles and 1hr and 14 minutes they won by a second but lost on handicap I can see why people get well and truly hooked. We also managed to come 3rd overall in the cup despite being a much smaller boat than the winner. Not bad at all and as for the parties - blinding!!!

I will be doing more of this in the future LOL

Anybody else there and what boat were you on - we were on Kurketrekker a 31.7
