if the yellow Exige was a heavily modified 240R with a big wing on the back, that will be a very well-peddled machine belonging to one of our BOLOCS fraternity (pistonheads Bournemouth-based Lotus club).
we do get quite a few nice toys in Lymington... there are usually a fair selection of Ferrari, Lambo, Bentley and stacks of Astons knocking about the place... Very occasionally we will get something special in such as a SLR, Maybach, Enzo or some very sexy classics (300SL's, Aston DB4's etc etc).
we're all petrolheads at heart!

Perhaps a 14 urban myth.. Apparently there used to be a chap who had a 911 modified to accept a tow bar. At this point I have serious doubts but I'm happy to go with it in the spirit of the story.
So the story goes that one chap had had his boat flown out to Italy for a regatta in Garda and was hapilly cruising through France at a steady 150 mph or so in his Ferrari 328. Only to be overtaken by a 911 towing a 14 at somewhere around 170 mph. Not a happy bunny and much merriment in the bar several hours later.
How true it is I don't know.
